One random night in January of 2019, I decided I was going to take a trip to Oregon. It had always been a bucket list location. I ran a giveaway for an engagement session, with two winners. Liz filled out the giveaway form and didn’t tell her partner Lacy because she wanted to surprise her with an engagement session if they won. WELL, THEY DID! Liz was so freaking excited and it made me even more excited to meet them both. We planned on some Oregon Coast engagement photos since they live in Portland. They traveled 2.5 hours to meet us at a local coffee shop and spend the afternoon running, laughing, kissing, and snuggling.
We planned the explore the coast and started at Ecola State Park. It started to rain but stayed sunny the whole time! We drove down to the beach and continued a fun as heck session in the rain. It was perfect because they wanted to use a clear, personalized umbrella they got as an engagement gift! Seriously worked so perfect! Even in the middle of winter, Liz and Lacy went barefoot on Cannon Beach and it was incredible but COLD.
Liz and I have stayed in contact and even sent me the cutest card and enamel pins (I collect them) from Portland AKA my favorite place, a few months later!
The best thang ever was getting their session published in EquallyWed! AHHH. Check it out here!
