The ULTIMATE mountain elopement. My first time in Canada and this is what I got to shoot. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I headed to Calgary, Alberta for a creative and business workshop. Emily and Kaihla created a vision of a 70’s inspired elopement in the mountains of Kananaskis surrounded by mountains, dusty fields, and a beautiful rushing river.
We drove an hour or so outside of Calgary, AB and made our way down a VERY steep hill. Well, it didn’t feel steep until we came back up! Jeremy and Amanda were amazing. They brought their vintage Chevy down with them as well as their son and doggo. We danced and frolicked through the dusty fields. Their pupper ran around and showed up with the photos at the end.
I am a true believer that you can’t take a bad photo when you are surrounded by nature and nature that looks like this! Something about a mountain elopement that just makes me pumped the heck up. I have so many elopement galleries coming up later this month and I am stoked to share those with you all!!
The beautiful boho dress is from Free People and was legit GOALS. It was paired with some vintage pieces Emily and Kaihla found at vintage shops. The incredible and vibrant backdrop was handmade by Kaihla’s husband, Mark. Jeremy killed the heck out of the 70’s vibe with his outfit and aesthetic in general. These two were the sweetest souls and so stoked for this gallery. Enjoy. ✌️
