The White Sparrow Barn Styled Wedding | Quinlan, Texas | SSAA Conference

You will probably see some of these photographs pop up under my Journal-Roadtrip page because it was that awesome! SSAA is an awesome company putting on styled shoots all across america for professional and hobby enthused photographers.  This particular styled shoot was held at the end of the 2018 SSAA Conference in Dallas, Texas! Have a looksy.

A HUGE shout out to the long list of patient and generous vendors who brought this weekend to life and gave us something out of this world to photograph.

BEHIND THE LENS

MEET CATE

Photographer, artist, mother, occasional painter, inspired by music videos, film, and nostalgia.

At a young age, I was engrossed with storytelling. Writing short stories on a thrifted type writer. Filming music videos to my favorite songs. A school project wasn’t just papier-mâché, it was a production with costumes, music, and visual effects. Now, with photographs, documenting a wedding day of all its moments of little touches, side glances, stolen kisses, hidden tears, and belly laughs. I can’t but help but bottle up the day, transport a memory from a feeling to something you can hold onto.
